General Studies Job Description :
The Hebrew Academy of Nassau County seeks General Studies teachers to join our extraordinary elementary faculty in facilitating an environment of academic excellence and love of learning.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Prepare and implement lessons and activities to teach and inspire students with a differentiated approach within a risk free environment.
Collaborate with other general studies teachers, administrators, and specialists to develop curriculum, plan special projects, and solve problems.
Work and communicate effectively with parents in formal and informal conferences and written reports.
Create and implement lessons using a hands-on approach.
Position Qualifications :
B.A. Degree in education or related field
Education Certification preferred
